have been blessed in that I have been able to make a living for
my family, doing what I love to do - my art. I do the paintings
that I want to do, and my customers and collectors seem to like
them. I work in a traditional style but have my own way of painting
that makes my work different from other artists. I learned a
long time ago that you don't have to be better that other artists,
just as good as you can be and be willing to work hard, because
no matter how good you are, without doing the work, you cannot
be successful. For me, painting is what it is all about, and
the joy I get when someone likes my work makes it worthwhile." |
